Crafted in California
Heritage
From the sand-strewn deserts along its southern border to the rain-soaked forests in the north, California is the most beautiful place in the world to practice our craft. Within the 163,000 square miles of terrain, The Golden State is home to the highest and lowest geographic positions within the lower 48. Our intent is to celebrate these and all points in between on our bicycles. This is our business and our passion. This is our heritage.
We celebrate cycling with our newest offering of the California Heritage Collection. Following best practices in fit and function, we’ve crafted a collection of astutely constructed cycling garments that compliment the riders form, while paying homage to the great state we live in.
Autumn’s cooler morning temps will be matched by the Cascade Long Sleeve Jersey’s insulating thermal properties. The closely-knit-face of this fleece-lined jersey fabric is perfect for days when temps remain below 65 F. The jersey pairs well with an insulating base layer or the Palomar Vest on days when the rider requires additional protection from the elements.
The Rincon Jersey has quickly become the standard for race-fit jersey’s in the performance cycling apparel category. The foundation of any Eliel product is in our fabric. In the case of the Rincon, we use pro-tour proven jersey knits from some of the most advanced knitters in Northern Italy. Each panel is individually laser cut to the exact dimensions of the pattern, yielding a standard in fit and construction unique to Eliel.
High performance cycling bib shorts are an art form. Named after the world class race circuit, the Laguna Seca bib shorts are a blend of tradition and innovation. We combined the best Italian fabrics with a fantastic CyTech chamois, and all the essential accents. The result is a bib short that can handle the rigors of competition, or an adventure down California’s iconic Highway 1.
Palomar Mountain stands as the most notable HC climb in San Diego’s mountainous interior. Popularized as the final stage and opening stage of the 2009 and 2013 Tours of California, this 6,100ft mountain is no stranger to cyclists in the region. The Palomar Vest from Eliel is designed to provide lightweight protection from fall to early spring. The deceivingly light and packable vest is constructed with a 3-layer water and wind proof textile engineered to protect from the wind and the wet, while maintaining adequate breathability and moisture transfer via the advanced membrane technology and engineered paneling.
