Palomar Vest - Black
A superior piece of outerwear to keep any rider prepared for the elements. Wind protection, layered warmth, and additional storage pockets provide ideal utility for a long day in the saddle.
I'm a die hard Eliel fan, and most of my cycling clothes are from Eliel. This is the one piece of clothing that I kinda groan when I have to pull it out to wear. What's great about it: perfect extra layer on spring days when that last bit of winter wind picks up. Really provides a good wind shield. Definitely not waterproof, but moisture resistant. What I don't love about it: It does not pack up small. And the "extra sleek race cut" is not made for women who have above a B cup. I'm 5'3, 115 pounds with a 34DD chest. I tried the medium, but couldn't zip it up. Yes, I know this is designed for cycling position, but even so, my gals are still there, and it was just too tight. The large zips up, but the midsection is so loose that when I put items in the back pockets and get on my bike, everything comes rolling out. Also the zipper is weird and I spend more time than I should have to trying to get it to work. Anyway, I'm waiting for Eliel to come up with a truly female-friendly vest.
