Men's Palm Springs Solana Jersey
Mid-century Modern meets Hollywood Elite meets cactus and palm trees in Coachella Valley to create a funky collection of colors and designs that shout Palm Springs! Our Palm Springs Collection is like a quick trip to this desert oasis.
The Solana Palm Springs Astro jersey went right to the top of my “wash and immediately rewear” pile. Fit is perfect for my 60 year-old size M mid century modern body and I particularly like the inner material texture as it wicks the wet blanket Virginia summer humidity like a boss. And that Astro pattern has gotten lots of approving looks and props. Just one complaint: you make such a great product you’re almost completely sold out of everything in my my size! Patiently (OK not so patiently) waiting for restock/new inventory.
I guess you could call me an Eliel fanboy. I am just very particular when it comes to my jersey fit. I love race cut jerseys, I love for the contents in my back pockets to feel secure when I hit bumps, and most importantly I love to look good on the bike. I have a few Rincon jerseys and one Diablo. This is my first Solana jersey. The Rincon is very racey, a tad more restrictive than Solana. The Diablo is very light and breathable but also very delicate. The Solana is a good middle ground. Still very racey, modern, and durable. The fabric is breathable and stretchy. Comfort is petty close to the Diablo. One issue that I have with most cycling jerseys is tightness in the neck area when zipped all the way up. I experience this slightly on Rincon and Solana but the Diablo disappears completely when I put it on. I guess I have a big neck, not a big deal I just zip it down a little when riding. Overall, I once was Rincon fan, now I'm a Solana fan.
is super great jersey and I love the colors.
My first purchase from Eliel - purchased this jersey and the Laguna Seca bibs. Both items are great quality, you hardly notice them riding as they are like a second skin. They are both tight style, a bit like compression gear. The jersey keeps you nicely cool on hot days without letting a noticeable amount of wind through.
What, I can't wear an Eichler you say? The heck I can! Love the flare in the classic jersey styles. Solana for me but I'd be all over the Diablo if I still lived in Palm Springs. Get all the looks out on the road or while Coachillin by the pool!
